  VANESSA PHIPPS, PRINCIPAL, FUTURE FORCE GROUP, LLC
  

  Vanessa is a leadership and development consultant who believes that a strong workforce must be built “from the inside up.” Since launching her company, Future Force Group in 2016, she has worked with multi-billion-dollar for-profit corporations as well as not-for-profits and institutions of higher learning. Some of her clients include Verizon Communications, Inc., Collins Aerospace, the American Civil Liberties Union, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Bryn Mawr College, and Rutgers University.

  Prior to launching Future Force Group, Vanessa honed her learning facilitation and diversity and inclusion consulting expertise at Aventis Pharmaceuticals (now Sanofi, U.S.) including developing a curriculum for high performing individual contributors and recommending a talent planning process that led C-Suite leaders to recognize and promote diverse talent within their respective divisions. She also oversaw the launch of the first Women’s and first Black/African American Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and managed the submission process for the Working Mother Top 100 awards, resulting in the company garnering the honor for the first time.

  In 2019 she supported the National ACLU headquarters as their first Interim Chief Diversity Officer, where she helped to charter and launch their first five Employee Resource Groups. She continues to consult with various ACLU offices throughout the country.
