ANNUAL CONFERENCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENT OPTIONS & POLICY:  Credit card charges will appear on your statement as Louisiana SHRM.  Payment by check must be postmarked by March 20, 2024.  Only credit card payments will be accepted after March 20, 2024

RECEIPTS: Receipts are automatically sent by our registration system when a participant registers and pays online. Please be aware spam filters can block email receipts. For assistance please contact our Registration Chair at lashrmstateconference@gmail.com.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:  Refunds are at the discretion of the conference committee and may be given if received on or before March 20, 2024 by emailing the Registration Chair at lashrmstateconference@gmail.com .  Cancellations received on or before the cancellation deadline will receive a refund of all fees paid minus a $50.00 administration fee.  Non-attendance at the conference will not be grounds for any or partial refund/credit unless the person has cancelled their registration on or before the cancellation deadline of March 20, 2024.  No refund or credit under any circumstances will be available for cancellations outside of the established timeline set in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

ALTERNATE ATTENDEE POLICY: Registrants who are unable to attend may request to have an alternate person registered at no additional cost by notifying the Registration Chair by email at lashrmstateconference@gmail.com on or before April 12, 2024.  Notification must include the alternate’s full name and contact information, including their email address.  No refund or credit under any circumstances will be available if notification of an alternate is not submitted within the established timeline set in the Alternate Attendee Policy.

PICTURES: Registrants understand that pictures will be taken during the conference. Said pictures may be used in promotional materials and social media accounts as they relate to promoting the conference and other activities of the Louisiana SHRM State Council.

REGISTRATION TYPES: 

• National SHRM or Local Chapter Member = an active member of National SHRM or a local Louisiana SHRM chapter
• Non-Member = not an active member of National SHRM nor a local Louisiana SHRM chapter 
• Full Time Student - an active registered full time student at a certified university or community college who is not currently employed, full time, in a Human Resource position.

ATTENDEE REGISTRATION LISTS: The Conference registration mailing list including registrants' names, companies, mailing addresses and email addresses is made available to conference exhibitors and sponsors.  Registrants are provided an opportunity during registration to opt-out of being included on this list.

GENERAL: Our liability is limited to refunds for conference fees only. The Louisiana SHRM State Council is not responsible for any statements, acts, materials, or omissions by our presenters or participants. The use of audio and video taping device or other recording devices by conference participants are not permitted at any session. Children and unregistered guests are not permitted in the meeting rooms.
